We are LWZ Technology, LLC – a Texas-based, family-run company that develops and provides innovative solutions to automotive, residential, and agricultural problems. The Lettuce Gizmo® (trademarked name, patented) Slicing System is our first product, soon to be followed by other solutions for common problems.
How We Work
We are a product-development & sales operation, with large production runs performed by existing manufacturers. We perform touch labor as required (i.e. fabricate gaskets, cut hoses, and tap threads) until unit orders justify outsourcing.
Our practice is to personally design, develop, and produce the solution to a given problem ourselves, hands-on, in our home office and shop. We then rigorously test our hand-fabricated prototypes, making modifications as required. We then develop final drawings and installation/usage instructions, create production-representative parts, and perform test installations/operations in accordance with our instructions to verify that the product works exactly as intended, again making modifications as required. Through this iterative approach, we are constantly improving our products at all stages of development.
At this point, having perfected the design, we hand off production to established manufacturers and shift our focus to the customer. We order and receive our products in-bulk from our manufacturers, package the products into kits, advertise the kits for sale, receive the orders, and ship the packaged kits to our customers. Our business operating tempo is to sell the products we have already developed and maintain the accounts while concurrently pursuing development of our next product. We are constantly expanding our product line.
